This 1938 Mercury Dime is in impeccable condition- and it’s nearly 100 years old! Pitch-black surfaces are haze-free with deep, pitch-black mirrors. The reflection it creates is phenomenal! Designed by Adolph Weinman during the “renaissance era” of United States coinage, despite being called the Mercury dime it is actually Liberty dressed in the Wings of Liberty- and thus often mistaken for the Roman god Mercury. 1 of only 54 graded by NGC and only 7 graded higher, this is a very difficult find in this kind of condition!
