8. 1890 Everest Morgan Dollar NGC PF 69 STAR ULTRA CAMEO & 1896 Everest Morgan Dollar NGC PF 69 STAR ULTRA CAMEO
Two Finest Known Morgan Dollars Certified by both NGC and PCGS. The only two proof Morgan dollars certified in PF 69 STAR ULTRA CAMEO.
9. 1873 Everest Seated Dollar NGC PF 68 ULTRA CAMEO
The sole Seated dollar certified in PF 68 ULTRA CAMEO by either PCGS or NGC. No other Seated dollar certified PF 68 ULTRA CAMEO, or higher.
10. 1949-S Signature Franklin NGC MS 67 FBL, Brilliant
For collectors of mint state coins who like their coins brilliant and untoned, as they left the mint, this is the ultimate 1949-S! Check auction records. EVERY 1949-S ever offered in MS 67 FBL has had extensive mint set toning, that is typically not attractive.
This 1949-S stands alone! Fully brilliant and very conservatively graded, and boldly struck. I would not be surprised if this 1949-S one day finds itself in an MS 67+ holder. I have a standing offer in my ads of $125,000 for a brilliant 1949-S that surpasses this EVEREST specimen in quality! WOW!!!
11. 1953-P Rembrandt Collection Franklin NGC MS 66 FBL, Spectacular Color. The 1953-P is difficult to locate in any grade with Full Bell Lines.
MS 66 FBL examples are quite rare. With an original mintage well under 3,000,000, virtually all going into circulation, a fully struck specimen this devoid of marks AND with beautiful multi-colored toning is a once in a lifetime discovery coin for the knowledgeable Franklin collector! There are no NGC 1953-P Franklin half dollars certified by NGC in MS 67 FBL!
12. 1896 Liberty Double Eagle PCGS PR 67+ DCAM, CAC. Highest grade in DCAM for the entire proof Double Eagle Series! There is only one other proof double eagle to receive this top grade from PCGS – an 1898!
Proof Double Eagles. As the late Ed Trumpeter, the owner of what may have been the greatest proof gold collection in existence, was rumored to have once said, “Proof Gold – the cavier of United States numismatics!”
